Beachbody Coach Sneak Peek: What does a Coach do?

Monday, August 10, 2015

If I was an outsider looking in at my life, I would be SOO confused! What does she DO all day (besides post puppy pictures)?! If you are scratching your head...wondering how I can stay home all day, play with the pup, and build a business...you are invited!

The whole concept of being a Beachbody coach can seem so abstract and SCAM-Y HAHA

Jay knows, I am one of the BIGGEST skeptics. I never buy anything or go anywhere until I read reviews & research. I've been BURNED so many times from buying crap products...hiring movers or contractors...
Feeling like someone pulled the wool over your eyes is one of the WORST feelings. So with that being said, I would like to "Pull the curtain back" and give you a glimpse into what I do...and you can decide if it's a good fit for YOU!

::Join my 5 Day Coach Sneak Peek::

I don't need a commitment...this is simply a chance for you to see if this is a good fit for you.

Here is what I can promise:

- This will NOT be one of those schemey "Business Opportunities” where the creepy sales guy pitches a bunch of different things and tries to pressure people to commit

- I'm simply going to share MY story, reservations I had coming into the biz... how/why we overcame them and how it has changed our lives...

- I'll cover common objections and FAQs

- Share our team CULTURE and values so you know what kind of "family" we are if you DO decide to take the leap

No pressure to sign up. Simply an opportunity to learn more and decide if it might be right for YOU! You won't hurt my feelings if it's not for you or the timing just isn't right.

THAT'S IT! 5 Days --- ALL HEART, no pressure -- just us sharing the way we feel about this awesome opportunity and our desire to help others

If you want to be a FLY on the wall in this group & don't already have a coach, send me a message to RSVP
NON COACHES ONLY PLEASE. I need to keep the group limited to those who are not coaches so that I can answer their questions as they come up. Thanks for your understanding! xo

8 Tips for Crafting the Best Challenge Group Posts
One of my favorite things about Beachbody... The products. Seriously between the workouts and Shakeology, my life has been forever changed.

There are so many coaches who have built a personal testimony and seen amazing results that they are passionate about sharing and helping others.

Buttt since none of us are sales people...nor do we have marketing degrees... sometimes SHARING our results and inviting others to join us can come across as sloppy, cluttered and (sorry but...)downright annoying. I say this with love of course.

So if you are a new coach who wants to share your excitement and invite other to join your Challenge Group... what do you do?

This is of course just my advice based on my 4 years in the biz....
And remember, there are SOOO many RIGHT answers for this!

The key is effectively sharing and getting others to commit to making a change is to tune into your story. Visualize the person you were BEFORE you started Beachbody. What did you need to hear? What did you need help with? What were your struggles?
And what would have piqued your interest? What would have grabbed your attention?

For me...the girl desperately trying to be healthy... but had NO clue what to do...or what to eat... I needed a SYSTEM. I needed some STRUCTURE. And I needed something that other women, like me, saw results with! (My Story)

But back on point...

8 Ingredients to construct a Kick Butt Challenge Group Post

1) It should reflect your personality, style, & goals- I write mine EXACTLY how I talk in “real life.” Make the first sentence an attention grabber!

2) Speak from the heart- the same STRUGGLES you have...are exactly what people RELATE to! Share your story to connect. Think about how a challenge group has helped you (or if you don’t have results yet… what are you most excited about?)

3) Appeal to the person you’re trying to attract or would love to help! (My customer wants to work on her "problem areas- tummy, thighs, and butt. It’s very doubtful a man trying to put on muscle will respond to that :P)

4) It should be Visually Appealing!! A clear bright image. PicMonkey is great for creating a collage or beautiful image. CAUTION: Do not get salesy here or clutter up your pics! The best CG posts feature YOU- not some Turbo Fire marketing that Beachbody put together! PS Most people scroll FB on their phone so no small font please smile emoticon

5) Showcasing your own RESULTS is MOST effective (but you can use others- just no Stock Beachbody Transformation photos please).

6) Break it up! Make it easy to read by creating short paragraphs.

7) Sense of URGENCY (Example: only 3 spots available & the group starts Aug 24th )

8) Have a Call to Action (If this interests you...LIKE or COMMENT Below)

BONUS TIP: Keep in mind that not everyone knows Beachbody lingo. They might not know what a "challenge group" means...or what the heck CIZE is... be mindful of that when you are wording your posts heart emoticon

Have fun with this- the best thing about this business is you are constantly learning & evolving! Don't worry we aren't going to leave you hanging...

The main thing to remember... BE HONEST, BE VULNERABLE and share with no expectations. We are NOT salespeople. We are not here to hound people with products or clutter up our friends newsfeed with a commercial reel...

We share because we are passionate. We share because we want to pay it forward. We share because we want to help.

5 Tips for Getting the MOST out of a Beachbody Coach Training Group

Monday, August 3, 2015

Beachbody Coaches! Whether you are brand new or a seasoned coach, joining a Coach Training Facebook group can give you the accountability, knowledge and action steps to propel your business forward.
Your upline wants to help fuel your internal fire and lay a foundation for your business. A business that gives you butterflies every morning!
Use this opportunity to brainstorm with the BEST and the BRIGHTEST coaches on your team of dreamers and do-ers --- and most importantly to DRIVE your thoughts, habits and actions FORWARD with unprecedented momentum.

To get the MOST out of any training group, a little planning and preparation can go a long way. Control the controllable- Set goals just one more inch, rep and conversation outside of your comfort zone, and soak up the training.

Use the experience to brainstorm, interact and connect with other coaches from your team (and lifelong friendships will flourish)!

5 Tips to Help you Get the MOST out of a Beachbody Coach Training Group

  1. Plug In & Interact!
Pull out your planner & set aside some time daily to check into the group. The lessons are wonderful, but the real MAGIC happens in the comments! Implement, ask questions, share ideas, and give one another feedback.

    Energy begets energy!

Think about how you feel when you are around people who are positively energized- jazzed up about what they are working on- suddenly you start to feel more excited and energized! Now you're both buzzing! The excitement and energy compounds as more people jump in and interact...suddenly momentum kicks in and you are flooded with ideas & positivity!
You can use a fun tracker like this, or I recommend the "Day Designer" planners at Target!
  2. Set Goals
When you have clear goals and a vision, your mind get to work creating it! It will help you stay focused about what you want to accomplish, and help you break it down into manageable steps.

At the beginning of your training, I want you to envision your future. What do you want to accomplish? Why is it so important to you?

If you want to take things one step further...dip deep. Imagine your future and visualize what it will feel like when you achieve success milestones! When you visualize what success looks/feels like, you will be much more consistent & excited about staying the course.

VISUALIZE your business 30 days from now. In one month, what do you want to celebrate?smile emoticon

How many people did you help?
How many Success Club points will you have?
Exactly how much money will you make each week?
How many Coaches will you have on your Team?
How many will be Success Starters?
How many Emeralds will you have by then?
What will your Challenge Groups look like?
What is the IDEAL Coach/Leader that you want to BECOME?

These are just SOME of the questions you MIGHT want to answer. It's helpful to pull out a sheet of paper and do a brain dump (just jot down what comes to mind)

After you have created a vision in your mind, write a letter to yourself dated 30 days from today that details all the changes and growth you have experienced. Again, be VERY DETAILED. The more detailed you are, the more likely you are to achieve it!

Once you have created that vision, you can work backwards and set goals and action steps to get you there.

  3. Keep Track
Michael Phelps wouldn't get in the pool without a clock! Unless you are tracking your business, you don't know if you are improving.
I know it can feel a bit tedious, but tracking also keeps you focused on your goals & keeps you RESULTS oriented (instead of getting sucked into busy work or Facebook scrolling).

This is the best way to see the effort behind the scenes. By sharing your tracker with your sponsor, they can easily see where you need guidance and help you tweak & improve your process.

There are MANY different trackers you can use...
From the Business Activity Tracker in your Coach Online Office... to one that we've made (see below)

  4. Commit to Personal Development
One of the BEST thing you can do for your business is to continue working on your greatest asset...YOURSELF!
Nurturing your mind, body, soul- always stay hungry for growth!

Have you ever heard of the Law on Intentionality (John C. Maxwell)?
You have to be very mindful & INTENTIONAL about your growth.  Do not assume you will just automatically grow and learn everything you need to...

If you focus on goals, you may hit goals – but that doesn’t guarantee you growth. If you focus on growth, you will grow and always hit your goals.

Personal Development is the PROACTIVE choice to face your obstacles or roadblocks head on, grow past them and overcome them.

Reading/growing is essential for our business development & taking things to the next level. However, you might not know where to start OR you may be overwhelmed. Don't fret- simply talk to your sponsor coach for recommendations (Scroll down for more suggestions).

If you are a newbie, the first two books I recommend are
    A) "Rock Your Network Marketing Business" by Sarah Robbins
    B) "The Compound Effect" by Darren Hardy
  5. Take Notes
Your notes will be one of your most precious resources! At the time, it might not seem like a big deal to take notes...but I have referred by to my notes 6 months, 1 year, 3 years after a training!

You can use Word, GoogleDrive, EverNote or a plain old fashioned notebook...find a method that works for you.
Jot down questions, ideas, actionables and anything that really strikes you.

Tune in to Weekly team calls and take notes. Afterwards, I go through and circle, highlight or add notes to anything I want to implement.
Remember, knowledge without action is useless! So take what you learn and put it to use!

And lastly, have fun!

Suncoast Animal League

Saturday, August 1, 2015

Eeee! I just HAVE to share a really special moment with you guys heart emoticon

It doesn't seem like very long ago that I was living paycheck-to-paycheck...struggling to pay my bills. At 21, I adopted a dog from the shelter...but between the long hours I worked and my limited budget...I had to make a very difficult decision to give him back frown emoticon I cried, he cried...it was awful.

promised myself that SOMEDAY, SOMEHOW I would make things right. One day, I would be in a position to help more animals.

It's been on my heart to help the local animal rescue...and I am HAPPY to say... starting tomorrow I am on the weekly schedule to help care for & walk the dogs (and snuggle them of course!)

TODAY, I get to write a good-sized check to an organization (Suncoast Animal League) who is making a HUGE IMPACT for abused/abandoned animals.
They just shut down a puppy-mill and are rescuing 45-65 dogs who will need medical care & a loving home!

As a coach, I still have SO MUCH to learn, so much to give...
I'm constantly reminded to stay humble, come from a place of gratitude, stay hungry for growth, to share my many blessings AND most importantly use this opportunity to pay it forward.

THANK YOU to every single person who supported me, believed in me and helped make moments like this possible heart emoticon
