Chicken Shawarma Recipe

In my quest to find EASY, delicious recipes I came across this winner! Yummy yum yum!

Humus with Chicken Shawarma picture
2 whole boneless chickens
1 1/2 tsp. salt or to taste
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. allspice 
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
1 tsp. ground cardamom
2 tbsp. lemon juice

1.In a mixing bowl, combine chicken breasts with 1/2 cup of onion, lemon juice, olive oil & spices.

2.Stir well & then let marinate, covered, in the refrigerator for about 3 hours, stirring occasionally.

3.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F, then place chicken breasts in a roasting pan & bake for 25-30 minutes or until done.

4.Remove from the oven & shred the chicken into slivers.

5.Fill a whole wheat tortilla with chicken, tomato, onion, Hummus etc
