My Story- From Size 6 to 00

Hi everyone! I used to go to the gym...all of the time. I was there faithfully every night, pushing myself on the elliptical, stair climber, and treadmill. It was beyond frustrating to know that as much as I was pushing myself, I wasn't losing any weight.  I was at a breaking point. At 5' 3" and 130 lbs I was so uncomfortable in my own skin.  I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong and it was starting to wear on me emotionally.

One night, I was at the gym late and saw the P90X infomercial. It looked good, it sounded good...but really who orders off an infomercial?! But for some reason, I couldn't get it out of my head.  I started to ask around and see if anyone had any experience with it- and I got amazing reviews.  The general consensus was that- Yes it was really hard and Yes you get UNBELIEVABLE results.  I decided to go for it and order. 
I have to admit, because I heard it was so hard, it sat in my closet for months because I was nervous.  While I was used to doing cardio, I have never done anything with weights before. I didn't know what to expect.
To ease into it, I decided to order Brazilian Butt Lift because I felt like I could really use some toning in that department. BBL is seriously the most fun I think I have ever had working out. I stuck to the workout plan for 2 months and started to see results. My fiancé definitely noticed my legs were getting slimmer and my butt was toning up! Yayyy!!
It felt like it was time to give P90X a try. I literally read through all of the guides and try to absorb as much information as I could.  If I was going to invest sweat and grueling work into this, I wanted to do it right. 

This was a major turning point for me because I realized that nutrition is 80% of your results. But the problem was....I didn't know how to eat, what to eat.  I literally wanted someone to take me to the grocery store and show me what real food is. It's scary to think back about how much I didn't know! And what I was eating before....completely processed convenience food.  I bought a book called The Eat Clean Diet and literally read it in 2 days. I refer back to it as well as the P90X Nutrition Guide all of the time for recipe ideas.  They have become my "food bibles." 
 A HUGE factor in my success and getting my nutrition right was Shakeology. I drink it everyday for breakfast...Once I started drinking it I was hooked- I feel better, I look better, and I LOVE the taste.  I did the Shakeology Cleanse and lost 5 lbs!!
I LOVE it and believe in it so much that I became a Beachbody Coach. I actually save money now that I have an easy and delcious meal on the go. Plus its chocolately deliciousness. 

The workouts were....hard. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Every 15 minutes I would pause the videos to catch my breath. And Ab Ripper X? Are they kidding?! That video is 16 minutes long and I think I paused it 6 or 7 times to try to keep up.  But as each day went by, I pushed past the soreness and laziness and started to pause less and less.  I remember my biggest day of accomplishment was when I could make it through Core Synergistics and Cardio X without pausing a single time!! 

Because life gets in the way, I missed workouts here and there. But I would switch my rest day or try to make them up.  Many workouts I would end laying on the floor...panting and sweating....saying I would never make it through another lol But the sense of accomplishment kept me coming back for more. As hard as the workout is, you ALWAYS feel amazing after. You NEVER regret working can regret NOT working out, but once you are done....once Tony says "You made it! Time to stretch, " you feel like a million bucks!

Ok, so what exactly were my results?

Starting Stats    
Weight: 130
Waist: 28"
Hips: 37"
Chest: 35"
Arms: 10"
Thighs: 22"
Body Fat: 21.5%

Ending Stats:
Weight: 109
Waist: 24.5"
Hips: 32.5"
Chest: 32"
Arms: 8.5"
Thighs: 18"
Body Fat: 15.5%

The stat I am most proud of is losing 4" off of EACH thigh!!! It still blows my mind!! lol  I went from a size 6 to size 00.  
I am still working to tone and have sexy, lean abs! I am currently mixing up my 2nd Round of P90X with Insanity  and a little bit of RevAbs!
