I LOVE avocados!

Besides the fact that they are a perfect anti-inflammatory, cancer fighting, and anti-aging super food...they are ridiculously tasty and loaded with healthy fats! 

Did you know you could blend some avocado in with your shakeology or protein shake to make it super creamy and yummy? 

They make everything better- add avocado (or guacamole) to sandwiches, salads, omeletes...


Don't know how to pick ripe avocados?Color can vary...but typically ripe, ready to eat avocados will have a darker color. It's best to pick them based on pressure. Ripe fruit will yield to firm gentle pressure. It will feel lightly soft but it won't be "mushy" to the touch. Ripe fruit is perfect for that day. Store in the refrigerator if you plan to eat it in a day or two to prevent the fruit from becoming overripe or spoiled.

If the avocado is firm, it will be ripe & ready to eat in a few days!
