Monday, January 17, 2011

Ok, I admit it...I indulged over the holidays...a lot. While I enjoyed it at the time, it has led to more and more cravings for sweets and derailed my workouts.  It was time to put a stop to it! lol
I am very proud to say I am back on track with my workouts and feeling AMAZING about it!!

Now, I just need to get my eating back on track and what better way to kick start the new year than with a challenge.  So you know what I am talking about....

RevAbs 14 Day Plan

For the next 2 weeks, I will be eat 5 times a day consisting of 3 meals (300 cal each) and 2 snacks (100-150 calories each).  Starch, dairy and sugars will be eliminated for 14 days to optimize fat burning

When to eat: Every 2-3 hours. Stop eating approximatively 3 hours before bed.

  2. It was EXTREMELY hard for the first 5 days...then you start to get used to the challenge of it. You will find that if you can really just force yourself for the first 4-5 days...the 2nd week you crave less. I didn't feel like I wanted sugars or dairy as much as before...and it actually helped me cut back on them even after the 2 weeks was over. I actually surprised myself because I started to branch out from what I always eat. It forces you to plan your meals, think ahead and try new recipes. The hardest was dealing with friends and family that wanted to go out to eat, but I just explained that I needed 2 weeks of understanding.I wish I could say I went the entire time without cheating, but I ate fitness bread on day 8 and 1 cup of rice on day 11. I decided it wasn't worth beating myself up over....but it just made me work that much harder to stick to it the next day. Hope this helps!! Are you trying to lose weight or just have a healthier diet?

  4. How bad is this- I actually didn't weigh myself. I was going by how I felt and it def trimmed up my tummy! I might do this again because I've been bad lately lol And I have a beach wedding coming up!!! One thing everyone said after doing this was they gave up dairy. I didn't think I would...but low and behold...I have.
